Sigur Ros, who put out the excellent Takk last year are on Conan O’Brien tonight. It’ll be interesting to see how they’re received.

Yeah they are playing tonight a few blocks down from where I live but it’s pretty expensive. Should I go?

Milkshake, I’d probably go, but I believe that NYC show is sold out.
Tarky, I meant too late as in, by the time you read the post, it’d be too late (you’d read it the morning after they played).
They played Heysatan, the last track off of Takk. Not my favorite track of theirs but I enjoyed it. I was sure the whole theater was going to burst from suspense at parts.

Yeah I was shocked the audience didn’t clap during that long pause with no sound. I wonder if the floor director warned the audience of it.
And right you are about the show being sold out. It wasn’t listed as such on the band’s website or on the madison square garden website but ticketmaster isn’t selling tickets.
PS – I am lame.
