When I am stuck without music (as I am during my morning commute) I try to compose music in my head, it exercises my imagination.  Reading-- that is another thing that can occupy my brain when I am not listening to something.  Sudoku is another one of those things that I resisted because it is &quot;in,&quot; but now I do it with my students, and have found it to be very consuming and a good brain retreat.</description>
